His cccupation was farmer owning 1200 acres of land.7
Mary Adelaide Turner died on 6 April 1862 at Tate Township, Clermont, Ohio, at age 15; information for Mary A. Turner is on the same headstone as her parents.5,6 She was buried after 6 April 1862 at Tate Township Cemetery, Tate Township, Clermont, Ohio.5

For a period of sixty-four years she was one of the most faithful members of that church. And her children also became active members of it. For several years she suffered much from sickness, but was always a patient Christian, looking with joyous hope to her meeting with her Savior and the loved ones who had gone before her. She showed rare fidelity, patience, godliness, and untiring devotion to all her duties in all her relations of life." She was born on 19 March 1818 at Amelia, Clermont, Ohio.1 She was the daughter of Elisha Baker Thompson and Mary Douglass. Adeline Donham Thompson married Samuel M. Cook, son of Amos Cook and Anna (?), on 13 March 1842.1 Adeline Donham Thompson died on 9 March 1896 at age 77.1
